TTs R Us

Magicians are the only breed of human who will spend upwards of $300.00 for a half-dollars, $50.00 for a deck of cards, and apparently $35.00 for a thumb tip.

Since the thumb tip is supposed to be concealed 99% of the time, does it really matter what the hell it looks like? The best part about these is that they're made with 100% frog skin!

I made one once by wrapping some paper around my thumb and running a couple of layers of tape around it....Worked fine. And the business about having to stick your thumb out at people is really kind of know, like the old saying, "running when you are not being chased".....

Love your blog, and I did not mean to intrude, except that I needed to say that I really am a bit peeved at how the newbies are being taken advantage of by a lot of people who should know better....

If this is generated towards newbies I don't know. It would not be fair to say so.
Alot of magicians are collectors so to speak. Meaning they buy items they really don't need. They buy it either to amuse them selfs or just to have one.
That said. An expensive TT is not really a necessity. If you are caught using a 2 bucks TT, then maybe it is the routine one should look over. If they are not looking for it, they are not going to see it.
